My daughter is dating a gang member
As the adults rush to the rear of the store, Thusha can be seen lying on the floor moving her arm.
The court heard she was crying and saying that she could not feel her legs.
As she follows them towards the doorway they turn away, leaving her in the line of fire.
Jurors were told that Grant would have been able to see Thusha as he fired his second shot.
He refused to name the men he was with, saying: “For the sake of my family I can’t name these two people.” Prosecutor Edward Brown QC told jurors: “Whilst there was an intention to kill the suspected rival gang member, the gunman and his accomplices couldn’t have cared less if someone else was shot too.” Speaking outside court, Det Supt Gordon Allison of the Metropolitan Police said: “This was a difficult and distressing case to investigate, bearing in mind Thusha was just five years old — a baby — when she was shot and paralysed by Grant, Mc Calla and Kolawole.
“Roshan Selvakumar also suffered catastrophic injuries when he was shot in the face.
“The shooting caused widespread shock and disbelief but they have never shown any remorse for their actions.” The three men will be sentenced on April 19.
